Project:?KONIAMBO Nickel Mine Project

Project introduction:?The owner of this nickel mine project is KONIAMBO Nickel SAS. The mine was designed and constructed as a modular plant and COOEC undertook the shop design, procurement and onshore construction of 17 modules with total weight around 40,000 tons, among which the largest module weighs more than 5,000 tons. These modules were all constructed on the non-slipway soft foundation at Qingdao Yard and delivered in four shipments to the New Caledonia Island (8,334km?from Qingdao) for assembly.

Project highlights:?During the execution, COOEC completed large-scale lateral loadout of modules using SPMTs, successfully assembled the modules delivered to the project site and used the DNV software in dynamic risk management for the first time.
